Hai Tang is a member of Andersen’s Alternative Investment Funds practice, serving venture capital funds, private equity funds, and venture-backed companies. He advises clients on partnership, international, and M&A tax planning and compliance.
Hai works closely with alternative investment funds and their portfolio companies on fund and transaction structuring, Subpart F and PFIC planning, and related tax considerations. He also has extensive experience supporting clients in meeting complex compliance obligations.
In addition, Hai has deep expertise in cryptocurrencies, advising crypto funds, blockchain businesses, and individual investors on tax matters in this evolving space.
Prior to joining Andersen, Hai worked at PwC, where he focused on alternative investment fund clients. He is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
