Petra N. Loer

Petra Loer is a member of the Valuation practice at Andersen. Her experience includes the valuation of closely held businesses, business interests, intangible assets, intellectual property, debt instruments, and derivatives. These engagements span a variety of purposes, including financial reporting, tax planning and reporting, mergers and acquisitions, litigation support, strategic planning, and restructuring.  

Her client base includes both individuals (such as startup founders and real estate investors) and companies (from small, closely held businesses to multi-billion-dollar multinational public companies). She has diverse industry expertise, including technology, life sciences, manufacturing, wineries, and services businesses, among others.

Before joining Andersen, Petra was a member of the Valuation Services practice at Huron Consulting Group and Arthur Andersen. She has been practicing business valuation full-time since 2001.

Petra teaches national valuation training for Andersen and contributes to the firm’s publications focused on key valuation topics.  She is a frequent speaker on valuation topics through internal and external webcasts, seminars, and podcasts.
