Nathan (Nate) Patterson is a director in Andersen's Tax Technology & Automation group. He has over 16 years of experience in tax technology consulting and related tax technical disciplines, focusing on tax processes and data management improvement services for tax departments.
Nate serves as a Tax Automation Solution Architect, specializing in designing and implementing multiple tax technologies in line with re-designing tax processes with the goal of generating efficiencies through enhanced end-to-end tax department environments. He has successfully led implementation and process improvement efforts for Fortune 500 companies. He works closely with colleagues across Andersen's global network to bring the best team to bear on the problems our clients face.
Nate has served as a trusted adviser to clients across a broad spectrum of industries and profiles, including Fortune 15 enterprises, startups, private equity, and family-owned businesses.
In prior roles, Nate has served as a national leader for tax compliance and provision tools (including ONESOURCE Income Tax, ONESOURCE Tax Provision, and ONESOURCE State Apportionment) and as a national leader for initiatives related to corporate compliance (US/International). He also has significant experience transitioning client and client service teams between compliance packages as well as managing tax compliance engagements with a focus on income and franchise tax return preparation.
Nate regularly teaches tax technology courses aimed at a variety of audiences. He has developed and led numerous national training programs and taught numerous courses at the Thomson Reuters SYNERGY conference.
Prior to joining Andersen, Nathan worked for KPMG in their national Tax Ignition practice.
