Kevin Kiyan is a managing director in the US National Tax practice and the firm’s global Transfer Pricing (TP) leader. Kevin has over 35 years of professional experience and has led all major aspects of TP issues, including planning/feasibility analyses, IP migration/ restructuring, cost-sharing, Advanced Pricing Agreements (APAs), audit defense/litigation, and global transfer pricing documentation.

Kevin has extensive experience serving clients in major industry sectors, including media & entertainment, engineering & construction, apparel, retail consumer products, telecommunications/networking, pharmaceuticals/ healthcare, and software development/data systems.

Apart from TP, he has led large client engagements in other areas including deductions for embedded software according to the old Sec. 199A; predictive models to eliminate deferred liabilities for customer reward points likely to never be redeemed; and litigation support as an expert witness; among other areas. He is an experienced expert in big data science and has a background in systems, including a prior position as a CRM systems architect. He also spent time in management consulting and is a Six Sigma Green Belt.

Before joining Andersen, Kevin was an executive director at EY where he led the Los Angeles Transfer Pricing practice. Previously, Kevin was VP of Analytic Services at McKesson Corp, a Fortune 11 healthcare services company based in San Francisco. He began his career as an economist at Citibank in New York, before joining AT&T/ Bell Labs where he was an economist and later, product developer and market analytics manager.

Kevin has been recognized by ITR World Tax and World TP as a Highly Regarded Practitioner for Transfer Pricing in the U.S.
