John W. Maragoudakis

John W. Maragoudakis is the Office Managing Director of Andersen’s Metro NY offices and has over 20 years of experience delivering tax compliance and consulting services to domestic and multinational business entities. As a member of Andersen’s Commercial Tax practice, John specializes in entity tax matters, with a focus on privately and closely held businesses.

John assists clients in a variety of practice areas, including domestic and international tax matters for owner-operated businesses, mergers, acquisitions, and other transactions, structuring for venture-backed and privately/closely held portfolio companies and funds, state & local tax issues, and routine tax planning and compliance services.

John joined Andersen in 2003 and, over the years, has served clients across a broad range of industries, including manufacturing, technology, art galleries, venture and private equity, private credit, international shipping, financial and professional services, family offices, entertainment, and real estate.
