Alison Andersen

Alison Andersen has over 23 years of experience concentrated on tax and estate planning. She has experience with tax and financial matters affecting private equity partnerships, trusts, and high-net-worth individuals. Alison has worked with numerous families with both domestic and international issues to develop and implement various wealth maximization plans through the use of family entities, income tax planning, and effective gift and estate planning.  Alison’s expertise also includes working with the IRS to respond to Global High Net Worth Audits as well as state and local audits.  

Alison also has experience providing tax services to partnerships and limited liability companies, specifically in private equity and hedge funds. 

Alison oversees the hiring strategy for Andersen's Metro New York offices, which include New York, Long Island, Greenwich, Hartford, New Jersey, Philadelphia, and Pittsburgh. Alison, a Fordham University alumna, champions the university's collaboration with Metro New York.

As a leader in the accounting industry, Alison actively contributes to Metro New York's resource management and learning and development programs. 

Before Andersen, Alison started her career in audit at PWC and then as a financial and tax planner.
