Ash Alankar is a managing director in the US National Tax practice at Andersen. Ash brings 25 years of experience in the investment industry, specializing in quantitative finance, multi-asset investing, asset allocation, portfolio construction, and risk management. He advises clients on investment strategies and quantitative approaches to portfolio management and works with clients building customized investment solutions engineered to their goals.
Before joining Andersen, Ash served as head of global asset allocation at Janus Henderson Investors. Before joining Janus Henderson, he was co-chief investment officer of quantitative investment strategies at AllianceBernstein, where he was responsible for developing and managing quantitative investment solutions for institutional and global investors.
Ash has authored articles on a broad range of investment topics, including strategic and tactical asset allocation, quantitative investing, tail risk, portfolio behavior during periods of market stress, institutional investment governance, and portfolio construction methodologies.
