Matt’s area of expertise, focusing on flow-through entities and their owners, incorporates knowledge of the unique and complex set of issues that can arise from formation through exit for this client base. Furthermore, Matt is the head of the Alternative Investment Fund Practice in Boston.

Additionally, Matt has experience utilizing commercial structuring to help his clients meet their specific goals as they consider how best to transfer wealth to successive generations. Matt’s clients include highly respected venture and private equity partnerships, family owned corporations as well as entrepreneurs, CEOs and international corporations. Matt spends a significant amount of time advising sellers on the tax impact from merger and acquisition transactions.
